1. Extended Stay Options

2. Removal of the 10-Day Grace Period

Previously, visitors were allowed an extra 10 days to exit the UAE after their visa expired without facing penalties. This grace period has now been eliminated, meaning overstaying will immediately result in fines and possible deportation.

Go to the ICA website if you’re outside Dubai, or the GDRFA website if you’re in Dubai. You can fill out the form, upload documents, and pay online.

2. Apply In Person

Visit an Amer Center in Dubai or a typing center in other emirates. They’ll help you fill out the form and submit your application.

3. Pay the Fees

The visa extension usually costs about AED 600. With extra charges like VAT and service fees, the total is around AED 630. You can pay by card online or by cash/card in person.

4. Wait for Processing

It usually takes 1–2 working days to process. Faster service is available if you pay extra.
