The Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) has revealed the launch of its custom-made widget, which is powered by online booking specialists Okadoc.
The latest update is available on their website and accessible to every patient in the region.
The DHCC website now provides the ability to offer medical practitioners according to specialist, insurance and plans, hospital or clinic. In addition to that, the doctors can also be sorted based on the language they speak as well as their gender.
Since the service has only been revamped, at present, a total of 32 specialists across 11 DHCC-based healthcare facilities are available for booking. The bookings are done online through the service.
If you have already selected a DHCC-based physician then the online appointment booking is instantly confirmed, which is made within 45 seconds.
Following the confirmation of the booking, the patients receive notifications and reminders through multi-channels. The patients are also provided the leeway to cancel or reschedule their appointments anytime as the portal is accessible 24/7.
Some patients often need to see doctors earlier than the next available appointment. In such a case, the patients can also requests for an earlier availability and they will then receive a notification if the doctors have any cancellation.
