Who Can Apply for the UAE Blue Visa?
In the first phase of the program, 20 environmental experts, researchers, and sustainability innovators will be awarded the Blue Visa. The initiative is led by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security (ICP).
This visa is open to individuals actively engaged in:
- Marine and land conservation
- Improving air quality and climate technology
- Advancing renewable energy solutions
- Working with international environmental organizations and NGOs
- Conducting groundbreaking research in sustainability
- Winning global environmental awards
